Cinematic Sound Radio turned 19 years old this past September. Last year I missed my 18th anniversary and almost missed my bronze anniversary this year. However, I managed to find a bit of time to produce this very program for you and it’s one I’m quite excited about.
Like I do each and every time I produce an anniversary episode I try to come up with a topic or theme that I have never before explored on the show. This year I’m going to play for you some of my favourite film and TV songs. I haven’t produced a songs only show since the early days of Cinematic Sound Radio… listen to the show and you’ll find out why. I’ve always wanted to produce another songs only show but I needed to make sure that the playlist was perfect and reflected my own personal favourites and musical tastes. The playlist as been ever changing since I started compiling it two years ago. I added the last song to the list just a few days ago.
On the program today you are going to hear music by Guns N’ Roses, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Alanis Morissette, Urge Overkill, Cyndi Lauper, Huey Lewis and the News, ZZ Top, Danny Elfman, Chris Cornell and more. This is a two-part, two-hour-plus program and I hope you enjoy it.
