Wow! Thanks Erik for such an awesome 2-part ‘Best of’ show. So many unexpected and dazzlingly brilliant selections here. Part 1 was really great but this was just phenomenal! Personally speaking this annual selection is the highlight of my music listening year and mostly defines the film scores that I will proceed to enjoy for the next year. I liked the positioning of Monkey King 2 and Rogue One but best of all, and it never ceases to amaze me, I love the gems that I would never have thought to explore or purchase. Swiss Army Man has gotten under my skin like nothing else recently and this will be a sure-fire personal favourite from now on – and I can only say “thank you” for the introduction to Panu Aaltio this show has given me.
