CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO’s Patreon was established in April 2021, and since then all of my patrons have been so generous and supportive of the show. So, I felt that I should give each of them a little bit more in exchange for their contributions; something that would be truly unique and that only they would be able to enjoy. Well, this is it! It’s ERIK’S TREASURE TROVE OF HIDDEN WONDERS
So, how did I come up with this idea you may ask?
Well, a few months ago, as I was out driving, John Debney’s medley to MY FAVOURITE MARTIAN popped up on my iPod and I thought to myself, I wonder how many others have heard this score on its own? I know it’s available on a promo but how many people own the physical promo release? Then I started thinking of doing another HIDDEN GEMS show like this one but then I thought, let’s dive in a little deeper and play some stuff that I’m sure NO ONE has ever heard before. Then I thought, hmmm, you know who would truly appreciate this stuff more than anyone else? My Patreon family. So my gift to them and any new member of the Patreon is this show; a show featuring music from my collection that is commercially unreleased and was given to me by the composers themselves, or PR agencies. I’ll also play selections from FYC albums and a few extremely rare items that you might not have heard before.
So, for this first episode, you’ll get to hear music from commercially unreleased scores to SEMPER FI (Giacchino), ANTITRUST(Davis), SPIDER-MAN 3 (Young), POOH’S HEFFALUMP MOVIE (McNeely), TIN CUP (Ross) and MY FAVOURITE MARTIAN (Debney)
I hope you enjoy the program. By the way, this show and future episodes of ERIK’S TREASURE TROVE OF HIDDEN WONDERS will NEVER be published on the main podcast feed.
