Mark Thomas is one of the most prolific and versatile composers working in the industry today. Before becoming a composer he was a violinist performing with world-renowned orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra working with such composers as Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, John Barry, Michael Kamen, Alan Silvestri and John Williams
In the late 80s Thomas began his composing career and since then has worked on over 110 features and television programs.
In late 2016, Jason Drury talked to Mark Thomas via Skype about working with the London Symphony on film scores, transitioning from performing scores to writing scores, how he got to work on the television series, Shaun the Sheep, and many other fascinating stories.
