On part one of episode 23 of THE ARCHIVE on the CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO NETWORK, host Jason Drury starts the show with “The Trees” from Jerry Goldsmith’s score for MEDICINE MAN. He then heads to the Irish coast and plays selections from John Williams’ brilliant score for the Ron Howard film, FAR AND AWAY, recently released in expanded form from La La Land Records. Jason then plays music from the new Varese Sarabande Records remastering of Joseph LoDuca’s ARMY OF DARKNESS. The PUTTING THE A IN ARCHIVE segment features music from the 1953 classic Western SHANE by Victor Young and the show ends with James Horner’s memorable work for the epic historical western, LEGENDS OF THE FALL, which was recently released in its complete form by Intrada Records.
