On part one of episode 24 of THE ARCHIVE on the CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO NETWORK, host Jason Drury starts the show with music by John Lunn from the 2019 film, DOWNTON ABBEY, based on the popular UK TV series of the same name. Then Jason presents music from the 90s sci-fi television series, SEAQUEST DSV, with music composed by John Debney. Afterwards, you’ll hear music from the classic 1980 sci-fi horror film, THE THING, with music by the late, great Academy Award-winning composer, Ennio Morricone. In the “Best of British” segment Jason presents music from the veteran composer Christopher Gunning with his memorable score for the 1985 film WHEN THE WHALES CAME. Part one finishes off with selections from Jerry Goldsmith’s wonderful score from the 1978 film, THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY.
