On part 2 of episode 24 of THE ARCHIVE on THE CINEMATIC SOUND RADIO NETWORK, Jason Drury resumes the show with music from the recently released 2 CD set of the late Ennio Morricone’s classic 1970 Western score, TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARA (
La La Land Records). Jason then presents selections from the classic 1964 children’s adventure serial, THE ADVENTURES OF ROBINSON CRUSOE (
Silva Screen Records) with music by Robert Mellin and Gian-Piero Reverberi. You’ll then hear music from the 1993 legal thriller THE FIRM (
La La Land Records) with music performed entirely on piano by Dave Grusin and then finishes off the show with a true forgotten gem when renowned music editor Ken Wannberg takes on scoring duties with dramatic effect for the 1984 science fiction adventure, THE PHILADELPHIA EXPERIMENT (Prometheus Records/
BSX Records).
