2014’s first track of the day comes from composer Cliff Eidelman and his concert work inspired by William Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST. The Los Angeles born composer/conductor has written many film and concert works including TRIUMPH OF THE SPIRIT, STAR TREK VI: THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY, UNTAMED HEART, FIVE PIECES FOR VIOLIN AND PIANO and THE CREATION SYMPHONY. Varese Sarabande’s ROMEO AND JULIET: SHAKESPEAREAN CLASSICS FROM STAGE AND SCREEN album was Eidelman’s second recording with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
